The Location Is Perfect
Oppenstein Brothers Park is a charming and
award-winning park in the heart of downtown
KC at 12th and Walnut.
It's comfortable! It's in the shade and even on
hot days a breeze blows continually through
the park.
Three Wonderful Concerts
They will be held on Sunday evenings at 7:00
pm. Bring a lawn chair, food, beverages and
sit back and listen to some of Kansas City's
finest guitarists!
Each concert lasts one hour. All music is
amplified, so a large audience is welcome.
If you want to sit close to the performers, it's
recommended you arrive around 6:30 pm.
All concerts are FREE
The concerts are free but donations are
accepted. A collection basket is available at
each event. CDs by the artist/s KCGS
merchandise are usually available for
purchase at these events too.
Our partnership with the Downtown Council,
Jackson County Department of Parks and
Recreation, and DowntownKC.org makes
these free concerts possible.
